Grocery chains in at least seven European countries reported supermarket refrigeration cyberattacks on Nov. 2, 2026. Industrial Cyber published a story on the same day about the incidents.

The report covered grocery chains in at least seven countries. The attacks targeted refrigeration systems used by the chains. James Stanley said, “Food retailers are part of critical national infrastructure, and attackers know this.”
